App blocks through Screen Time
In the Vault, you choose the apps and categories that distract you. During a focus session, Jade blocks exactly those through iOS Screen Time. Because the block uses a system feature, it can also be removed again in your iPhone settings.
Unbreakable Focus
With “Unbreakable Focus,” you can't end the running session directly in Jade. Without the switch, you can always leave. If you really urgently need an app, you can ask for a short exception during the session.
Daily app limit
Set how long you may use your Vault apps each day. Once the time is used up, a timeout follows, during which Jade blocks the apps on its own. No session needed, and no willpower either.

The core of Jade is free: focus sessions, app blocks, and the daily app limit need no subscription. Pro removes the limit of 5 apps in the Vault, unlocks Unbreakable Focus, meaning the session you can't simply walk out of, and starts blocks on request via Siri. With Friend Lock you add friends by code and lock apps for each other, but only the ones each person allows. Jade also switches grayscale and iPhone Focus on for every session and back again at the end. The 7-day trial applies to both subscriptions, and purchases go through the App Store.
Frequently asked questions
Jade is an iPhone app and requires iOS 26.5 or later. There is no version for iPad, Mac, or Android.
In the Vault, you choose which apps and categories distract you. When you start a focus session, Jade blocks exactly those through iOS Screen Time. If you open a blocked app, the Jade block screen appears. When the session ends, Jade unblocks them again. Because this relies on an iOS system feature, you can also remove the restriction yourself in your iPhone settings.
You can end a regular focus session in Jade at any time. If “Unbreakable Focus” is turned on, you can't end the running session directly in Jade, and it runs until the timer is up. If you urgently need a specific app, you can ask for a short exception during the session.
For free, you get unlimited focus sessions, up to 5 apps in the Vault, the daily app limit, the full overview on Home, plus the widget and Live Activity. Pro removes the 5-app limit, unlocks Unbreakable Focus, adds Friend Lock (add friends by code and lock apps for each other), and lets you start blocks with Siri and Shortcuts. Your focus sessions, stats, and block lists mostly stay local on your iPhone. For your account, login, and subscription status, Jade processes your email address. Usage analytics are off by default and only run if you agree in the settings. Your completed focus minutes are, by default, anonymously added to the worldwide total further down this page, with no link to your account. You can turn that off in the settings too. The AI features are optional: your input is only sent for processing once you use them. All the details are in the Privacy Policy.
